Biography
My name is Leslie, I grew up on a farm / horse farm and my first encounter with sport was; equestrian sport. I could probably ride before I could walk.
However, my enthusiasm for other physical exercise was zero.
In later years I discovered Kung Fu for myself. This grace paired with strength. Where you learn to control your body, weapons and also your mind.
So I discovered my love of sport after all.
That's how I got into weight training and started my study as a specialist in exercise and health promotion, which I completed in 2022.
When I discovered the fitness world, I also came into contact with Movement Practice. Initially I attended occasional workshops, where I met many incredible people who let their imagination run wild and showed me what we were capable of if we only put enough energy and time into it. At some point I was able to take part in Movemoremp's movement classes several times a week and later pass on my knowledge.
I have also been able to gain an insight into many different sports, for example: judo, karate, boxing, tai chi, wing chung, qi gong, Thai boxing, pole dancing, twerking, dancing, kite surfing, surfing, skateboarding, basketball, table tennis and much more.
My own practice consists of handstand / inversion training, strength training, movement practice and pole dancing.
Even as a trainer, you will never stop improving and discovering new things, because ‘whoever stops learning has stopped living’. (Author unknown)
